Holiday happenings at Sanborn Museum

The Sanborn Museum and the Sanborn Business Association invite visitors to experience the holiday season at the museum complex, located at 2660 Saunders Settlement Road in Lewiston.

Activities include a caroling sing-along from 2-4 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 5, in the church building. That’s open to museum members and area residents. Hors d’oeuvres and servings of eggnog will be available.

A holiday party for children ages 2-8 will take place both Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 4-5. Look for visits with Santa on both days; gift-giving from the man in red; craft projects; the Santa Store, plus a holiday gift auction. Lunch will be served at 11 a.m. Families are invited.

Stop by for “Light Up Sanborn” at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 19, on the museum grounds. A brass band will accompany a Christmas sing-along. There will be servings of cookies and snacks, plus coffee and tea.
