This Wednesday, between 9 a.m. 3 p.m., is the last day of Community Access Services’ (CAS) popular annual “Testing for Turkeys” event. Participants who stop by CAS, located at 3297 Bailey Ave., and receive a free HIV test will get a Thanksgiving turkey – and sides – while supplies last.

HIV results are provided within approximately 20 minutes. In addition to turkeys, swag bags with personal protection equipment will also be provided.

Walk-ins are welcome, or appointments can be made by calling 716-852-5969.

Community Access Services (CAS) is a nonprofit organization that helps communities of color in Buffalo and Erie Country access health care. CAS said, “Our programs can help you learn about HIV, HIV treatment, and safer sex practices. We can also help you find and get into primary medical care, mental health counseling, substance use counseling and more.”
