Ransomville Speedway management will be implementing new rules for the full-fendered Street Stock division beginning in 2022. The new rules will be aligned with nearby American tracks.

The 2022 rulebook for the Street Stocks will be posted at www.ransomvillespeedway.com/rules/. Purse structure and rules will be in alignment with nearby American tracks.

The Open Street Stock race that took place Sept. 10 saw 26 drivers take part, with 24 starting the feature event. In the end, it was Oakfield’s Josh Pangrazio winning the inaugural Mateo Hope Memorial.

2022 will see three crown jewel races for the Street Stocks, the annual John Susice Memorial, the second Mateo Hope Memorial, and the King of the Hill.

With the dirt no longer flying at the Big R, attention will now be shifting to the annual awards banquet and champions celebration on Saturday, Dec. 4. The banquet will take place at the Lewiston Fire Co. No. 2 hall, located at 1705 Saunders Settlement Road. Tickets will be $50 per person and are available during the week by contacting the Ransomville Speedway office at 716-791-3602. Dinner will take place at 5:30 p.m., with the awards ceremony beginning at 7 p.m. Donna Eick will cater the banquet and will have an open bar.

All awards and plaques will be going to Ransomville Speedway members. Drivers questioning their membership status are encouraged to contact the Ransomville Speedway office.
