Retrouvaille weekend program for couples seeking help in their marriages

Accepting registrations for Sept. 17-19

Retrouvaille (pronounced retro-vi with a long I) will offer a weekend program for couples whose marriages are in distress. The Sept. 17-19 program in Buffalo is designed to provide couples the tools they need to work on their marriage and relationship.

A press release stated, “As families continue to grapple with the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on their lives at work and at home, many married couples may find themselves facing severe stress and anxiety.

“Retrouvaille has helped tens of thousands of couples experiencing marital difficulty. Those who are considering marriage separation, those who are already separated or divorced, and those in the initial stages of a marriage problem, are encouraged to consider the Retrouvaille program.”

Retrouvaille begins with a weekend experience in which couples are helped to reestablish communication and to gain new insights into themselves as individuals and as a couple. While Retrouvaille is a Christian marriage program, couples of all faiths and those with no faith tradition are welcome and encouraged to attend.

The weekend program is presented by three couples who have experienced their own personal stories of disillusionment, pain and conflict in their own lives and offer hope as they share their personal struggles of reconciliation and healing.

The press release noted, “Many couples find courage and strength in the realization they’re not alone in their struggle. The weekend experience is followed by several post sessions designed to build on the communication tools couples learn throughout the program.”

Preregistration is required, and space is limited. All COVID-19 guidelines will be followed.
