Erie County Department of Health will offer COVID-19 vaccine each day; $10 fair food and drink vouchers for people who are vaccinated on site

Erie County has planned a full schedule of activities and displays for the Erie County Fair, which will run Aug. 11-22 at the Erie County Fairgrounds in Hamburg.

The Erie County Department of Health will have its mobile RV unit stationed next to the Expo Hall each day, offering COVID-19 vaccine. Pfizer vaccine will be available for youth ages 12-17, and Moderna vaccine for adults ages 18 and older. Parental consent is required for individuals under 18 years of age.

Anyone receiving a COVID-19 vaccine from ECDOH at the Erie County Fair will receive food and drink vouchers ($10 value) for use at participating concession stands at this year’s Erie County Fair.

Representatives from the Erie County Departments of Veterans Services, Environment and Planning, Senior Services, Parks and Recreation, Social Service and Health, the Office for People with Disabilities, and the Buffalo and Erie County Public Library will be set up in the Marketplace Building. Activities and departments will vary each day.
