'Party on the Portico' returns to Buffalo History Museum in August

The Buffalo History Museum announced the return of its summer concert, “Party on the Portico,” from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 20, with headlining band XOXO Pop Band.

A press release stated, “ ‘Party on the Portico’ has been a staple gathering of friends on the museum’s gorgeous portico looking out on Delaware Park and Mirror Lake for over a decade. The event features live music, beer, wine, complimentary snacks, and an exclusive look at the newly renovated space under the museum’s portico!”

The event is 21-and-over and runs rain or shine. Presale tickets are available online at Eventbrite for $40 VIP or $25 general. Members may purchase tickets at $15 in person or over the phone by calling 716-873-9644. VIP tickets include an express entrance line, express line for beverages, and three complimentary drink tickets. Tickets will be available at the door the night of for $30 general and $20 for members.
