Ticketmaster is now the official marketplace of the Buffalo Sabres, Buffalo Bandits and their home at KeyBank Center. A press release stated, “The arena will immediately utilize Ticketmaster’s leading digital technology to provide fans with the most safe and seamless experience across their ticket-buying journey from the moment of purchase to entry into the venue.

“As an extension of Ticketmaster’s relationship with Pegula Sports & Entertainment, thousands of KeyBank Center fans will now also have an easy, one-stop shop to buy, sell and manage tickets to games, concerts and a variety of other events that come through the arena each year.”

Pegula Sports & Entertainment Executive Vice President Ron Raccuia said, “Ticketmaster will provide the best available platform to access and transfer tickets for KeyBank Center games and events. Ticketmaster’s event experience has been great for Bills fans at Highmark Stadium, and we’re pleased to extend our partnership and bring that premium experience to all Sabres and Bandits fans, along with everyone who visits KeyBank Center.”

Kurt Schwartzkopf, executive vice president of sports for Ticketmaster, said, “We continually seek to innovate our ticketing platform to offer fans the most seamless experience available, as they return to games, concerts and events in 2021 and beyond. We’ve worked with Pegula Sports & Entertainment on a variety of events and games over the years, and could not be more excited to move forward with an even deeper partnership.”

The press release said, “With digital tickets, fans receive the benefits of state-of-the-art venue access with contactless entry, mobile box office support, as well as instant transfer when sending a ticket to a friend or selling to another fan. Digital ticketing also eliminates ticket fraud by using an encrypted barcode that refreshes automatically every few seconds. Ticketmaster will continue to focus on developing and integrating features that help event organizers enhance every step of the fan journey, allowing for increased connectivity for fans to personalize their experience before, during and after the show.”

Sabres fans will be able to manage their tickets and gameday experience through the convenience of the Buffalo Sabres mobile app developed by Yinzcam. Ticketmaster directly integrates into accessing features such as instant ticket delivery and transfer right from your mobile device.

Ticketmaster is the world’s largest ticket marketplace and the global market leader in live event ticketing products and services. Through official partnerships with thousands of venues, artists, sports teams, festivals, performing arts centers and theaters, Ticketmaster processes 500 million tickets per year across 30-plus different countries. Ticketmaster is a part of Live Nation Entertainment.
