It’s been a long 15 months full of fear, facemasks, disrupted schedules, and devastating losses. The coronavirus pandemic changed our lives, and while we are on the road to recovery, truth is that some losses will never leave us. It’s a lot to process.

Need to talk it out? Crisis counselors from NY Project Hope will lead “Pandomournium,” a group session for anyone who wants to talk, listen, or engage around their COVID-19 feelings, Wednesday, June 9, at 4 p.m. It’s happening exclusively on Zoom: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/83262712400?pwd=YUFvMGRsbDBsMWZOWm5MaTk1ZkUrdz09 (meeting ID: 832 6271 2400 and passcode: &#Txb1V= ). The group session is free and open to the public.

NY Project Hope was created to help New Yorkers understand their reactions and emotions related to COVID-19, and Spectrum Health and Human Services is one of the agencies selected to provide this service in Western New York.

Spectrum Health & Human Services is a Certified Community Behavioral Health Center (CCBHC) providing mental health, addiction, ACT, rehabilitation, care coordination, housing and crisis services in locations throughout Western New York. Spectrum Health promotes hope, empowerment and self-defined improvements to adults, children and families as they recover from behavioral and/or addiction-related disorders. Visit www.shswny.org for more information.

NY Project Hope is program of the New York State Office of Mental Health and is funded by Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). For more information, visit shswhy.org or call the emotional support helpline at 716-566-6506.
