Team members at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center showed their support for National Wear Red Day on Friday by rocking their red outfits.

National Wear Red Day is supported by the American Heart Association and celebrated in conjunction with National Heart Health Month. The annual observance is dedicated to raising and spreading awareness of women’s heart disease and stroke risks.

NFMMC said heart disease is the No. 1 killer of women, causing one of every three women’s deaths each year. That’s approximately one woman every minute according to the American Heart Association.
