Alden construction company supports staff at region’s largest hospital

Zoladz Construction Co. Inc. today donated 350 lunches to Erie County Medical Center’s front-line health care workers who are daily fighting the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Given what health care workers are facing and responding to so magnificently across our region, we felt this gesture of support reflects how we all feel about them,” said Zoladz CEO John Zoladz. “ECMC’s hundreds of staffers go to work each day to save people’s lives and their mission and expertise is even more needed in this pandemic. We want to recognize in a small way their professionalism, courage and dedication when Western New Yorkers need it most.”

“This is also a good way to support a favorite local restaurant at a time when we know that sector faces extreme hardships,” Zoladz added.

Zoladz also plans to contribute lunches in coming weeks to workers at most of the hospitals in Erie and Niagara counties, including Mount St. Mary’s Hospital in Lewiston, Kenmore Mercy Hospital in the Town of Tonawanda and Roswell Park Cancer Institute.

Zoladz Construction Co. is a large civil works, demolition and trucking contractor based out of the Western New York area with a satellite facility in Charlotte, North Carolina. The company has been in business for more than 35 years. It is a locally owned and operated company.
