Thu, Dec 24th 2020 07:00 am

DiMino Lewiston Tops owner Anthony DiMino is no stranger to giving. He has been featured often in this newspaper for his donations to the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Niagara River Region Chamber of Commerce and local anglers. This week, he and his store went above and beyond, donating $15,000 to the Salvation Army for Christmas. Volunteers have been manning the red kettle during the holiday season.

“Tops tries to make Christmas 2020 very merry,” DiMino said.

Pictured, from left, is DiMino with Capt. Steven Carroll Jr. of the Salvation Army’s Niagara Falls unit.

Carroll said Tops is the No. 1 donor to the Salvation Army.
