The Buffalo Zoo is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. seven days a week through Thursday, Dec. 31 (with the exception of Christmas day).
It began its winter hours on Nov. 16, and has been open on weekends only. Winter hours are a seasonal change for the zoo and will last until March 28, 2021.
During winter hours, Buffalo Zoo members receive complimentary perks when they visit. The December member perk is free hot chocolate, available in the Wild Burger restaurant. Members must show their current, valid membership card.
Temperature checks, mask requirements and modifications to some guest pathways and routes are still in effect.
The Buffalo Zoo will also be open on Martin Luther King Jr. Day (Monday, Jan. 18) and Presidents Day (Monday, Feb. 15).
