Totally Buffalo’s “Hope for The Holidays” – one of Buffalo’s newest charities – is completing its second annual “Make a Case for Kids 2020” campaign to help out kids in need in Niagara County. After a huge response from members of the WNY community who donated hundreds of toys, the campaign will be stuffing cases and filling dream wish lists of 160 Niagara County children.

The charity’s “Make a Case” campaign is being conducted in conjunction with Catholic Health and Neighborhood Health Center in Niagara Falls. The items have been already collected and the cases will be completed this Saturday. The cases will be assembled at the office building owned by St. Mary’s of the Cataract at 256 3rd St. – directly next to the Niagara Falls Convention Center.

Charity board members will be present this Saturday along with Sister Nora from Catholic Health and additional volunteers. The giveaway will be the culmination of a months-long effort to help out kids most in need in Western New York. The campaign will be giving out the cases to families later this month.

“As we all know, this year is harder than ever for families in need in Western New York,” charity President Mary Friona-Celani said. “With this year’s ‘Make a Case’ campaign, we’ve been able to provide gifts for160 kids in Niagara County who otherwise would’ve gotten nothing for Christmas this year. And the fact that all of the gifts provided by the campaign are on the kids’ dream wish lists makes it all the more gratifying.”

The mission of Totally Buffalo’s “Hope for The Holidays” is to bring hope and help to those in need – particularly around all holidays throughout the year. From New Year’s Day to Valentine’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas – and everything in between – the organization hopes to make holidays brighter, sweeter and more memorable through donations of food, gifts, trips, wanted and needed items for families in need.
