The North Tonawanda Police Union (NTPBA) will conduct its annual “Shop with a Cop” event at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 11.

North Tonawanda PBA President Erik Herbert said, “This year we are excited to be joined by the North Tonawanda Fire Union (NTPF local 133) as we work to aid families and children in need. Officers will take families shopping for hats, coats, boots, clothing and toys for the upcoming holiday season. The event allows families to get to know first responders in a positive way.

The program is supported entirely by donations by our police officers, firefighters and local businesses. The NTPBA would like to thank Walmart (886 Niagara Falls Blvd., North Tonawanda) for hosting the event, as well as East Hill Foundation and Gratwick Hose Volunteer Fire Co. for providing their generous donations. We are expected to have over 140 children in attendance, making it the largest turnout in the event’s history.”

Social distancing and COVID-19 protocols will be strictly followed.
