KeyBank, in partnership with the First Niagara Foundation, is providing $60,000 to support Catholic Health’s work on the frontlines of the local COVID-19 response.

A press release said, “The donation will provide funding for essential supplies and materials that are desperately needed to fight back against the coronavirus, save lives and protect health care workers.”

“We are proud to support the health care workers in Western New York who are making a difference every day at the heart of local relief efforts to help ensure all patients get the care they need during this unprecedented time,” said Elizabeth Gurney, executive director of the KeyBank and First Niagara Foundations.

Catholic Health operates the first dedicated COVID-19 treatment facility in New York at its St. Joseph Campus in Cheektowaga.

“Catholic Health is committed to the safety and well-being of our entire workforce and providing the highest quality care to our patients, as we have for the past 170 years,” said Mark Sullivan, president and CEO at Catholic Health. “We are grateful for the support of the KeyBank and First Niagara Foundations as we continue to work tirelessly to protect and preserve the health of the Western New York community.”
