Niagara County Clerk Joseph Jastrzemski on Tuesday announced the clerk’s office would be fully closed to the public as of 4:30 p.m. today.

Jastrzemski said this closure now includes attorney and title companies closing real estate deals. Jastrzemski had previously closed the DMVs, pistol permit and passport offices, along with suspending other services.

The Niagara County Clerk’s Office Land Record Department will still record documents, but those documents must be submitted via E-Record or sent to the Niagara County Clerk’s Office via USPS/UPS/FedEx. The office will not accept any personal service or couriers. Instructions for E-Recording are available on the county clerk’s website.

The Niagara County Clerk’s Office will continue to update the public on any changes to these closings.
