Blessing of animals in Youngstown

Pets, and their owners, are invited to a special “drive-in” blessing of the animals in the parking lot adjacent to St. John’s Episcopal Church, Main and Chestnut streets in Youngstown. The event will take place at 11 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 4. The Rev. Canon Barbara Price will mark the feast of St. Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals, with this special event. Everyone is welcome to attend.
