William Mattar to host community blood drive with ConnectLife & 103.3 'The Edge'

On Friday, Oct. 2, William Mattar law offices is teaming up with ConnectLife Blood and Organ Donor Network and 103.3 “The Edge” to bring a community blood drive to its Williamsville office located at 6720 Main St. The blood drive is open to the public and will take place from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. DJ Bentley will be on hand broadcasting live from 10 a.m. to noon, giving away prizes to donors.

To donate blood, appointments are strongly encouraged, but walk-ins will not be turned away.

“We are pleased to work with ConnectLife for this event to give life-saving blood donations and help our neighbors in need,” Mattar said. “There is an urgent need for blood donations in Western New York, so we welcome everyone in the community to join us to support this cause. Just a single blood donation can save up to three lives.”

ConnectLife is calling on all O negative and O positive donors to take part in the blood drive. All blood drive attendees will undergo a health screening at check in, and those who donate blood must be healthy and COVID-19-free. Photo ID and masks are required to participate.
