The Herschell Carrousel Factory Museum is holding a curbside Chiavetta's chicken dinner pick-up from 3-6 p.m. Friday Oct. 9. Dinners are $12 each in advance, and include Famous Chiavetta's Chicken, potato salad, coleslaw and a dinner. A portion of each dinner sold will help the museum to recover some of the lost event revenue the museum faces due to COVID-19. Altogether, the museum faces a $20,000 gap from its budgeted 2020 event revenue.

Presale dinners can be purchased on the museum's website. A limited number of dinners will be available for purchase on the day of event for $13 each. Customers can stay in their cars and the museum staff will load dinners into backseats or trunks.

The Herschell Carrousel Factory Museum is located at 180 Thompson St., North Tonawanda. Its mission is to be a premier national historic site and community resource for family learning and recreation that fosters an appreciation for the unique heritage of the carousel and related industries in the Niagara Region.
