The Market In The Square & 'Country 106.5' WYRK 'Famous Polish Cheesecake Donut' fundraising challenge to benefit ECMC

Erie County Medical Center Corp. officials announced The Market In The Square and “Country 106.5” WYRK have launched a special “Famous Polish Cheesecake Donut” Northtowns versus Southtowns fundraising sale challenge to support ECMC.

Kicked off on National Cheesecake Day (Thursday), the doughnuts will be available at all The Market In The Square location for the next 106 days. One dollar from each doughnut purchased will support ECMC frontline caregivers. Doughnut prices are one for $2.50, four for $10 or six for $15.

Clay Moden, DJ/on-air personality at “Country 106.5” WYRK, said, “Being in morning radio, eating doughnuts it’s just part of our routine. But being able to celebrate National Cheesecake Day, and kickoff (a) great Southtowns versus Northtowns challenge to help ECMC and sell out on the first day is icing on the Polish cheesecake doughnut!”

Nicholas Kusmierski, vice president, The Market In The Square, said, “We are so happy to be able to provide the community with a fun and delicious way to support ECMC. The services they provide for all of Western New York is something that we are proud to support! Doughnuts and donations to support our local community is truly a great combination!”

ECMC is thankful to both The Market In The Square and “Country 106.5” WYRK for their support through the current sale of the delicious “Famous Polish Cheesecake Donuts.”
