Due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, Niagara County Community College has decided to postpone its 30th annual Foundation Scholarship Gala. The event, originally scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 17, at the Niagara Falls Culinary Institute, will now be held in spring 2021. No official date has been set at this time.
The NCCC Foundation has awarded more than $2 million in scholarships to deserving students since its inception in 1987.
A press release said, “We apologize for any inconvenience this postponement may have caused, but our guests, staff, students and volunteers’ health and safety is our main priority.
