NACC: 'Jazz on the Steps' featuring Custode & Parisi Jazz Trio

The Niagara Arts and Cultural Center announced “Jazz on the Steps,” an outdoor summer concert event scheduled for 5-7 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 23, at 1201 Pine Ave., Niagara Falls.

This one-night event will feature one of Western New York’s premiere jazz groups, the Custode & Parisi Jazz Trio, with Lew Custode and Steve Parisi, with a special guest performance by Lisa Surace during intermission. This event will also feature professional sound by Mickey Dumas Precision Sound.

In addition to live music, Starry Night Café will sell food and beverages to patrons.

This event is free and open to the public. The NACC will be accepting donations and will be selling 50/50 tickets. The NACC is co-sponsoring this event with KeyBank. A rain date has been set for Aug 31.

A press release said, “We look forward to offering this free event! Please join us on our front lawn to enjoy the Custode & Parisi Jazz Trio on Aug. 23. We recommend bringing lawn chairs or blankets to sit on. We also request that attendees wear masks and practice social distancing during this event. We hope it will be a lovely evening!”
