The annual Rotary Club of Grand Island’s Shred-It fundraiser will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, June 27, in the Tops parking lot adjacent to KeyBank on Grand Island Boulevard.

A Shred-It event was postponed in April due to the COVID-19 quarantine.

Funds raised at Shred-It go toward the Rotary Club’s pledge of $2,500 per year for 10 years to the Miracle League. This will mark the ninth year of donations to the youth program inside Veteran’s Park.

Donations are $10 per box of items to be shredded.

Rotary Club members and volunteers will be exercising proper safety measures and social distancing. Vehicles need to just pull up to the spot where volunteers – wearing gloves and face masks – will take the items out of the car without anyone leaving the vehicle.

Rotarian Jerry Barlow carried items to be shredded.
