With Gov. Andrew Cuomo's declaration that all gatherings be prohibited until further notice, the BPO has made the “difficult decision” to suspend all performances through April 26. Details on canceled and rescheduled performances are still in development. Check bpo.org for the latest details.

Ticketholders to canceled BPO performances have the following options:

•Exchange your tickets to an upcoming performance. A press release said, “We are happy to exchange your tickets for another upcoming 2019-2020 season BPO performance.”

•Refund your ticket purchase to a gift card. Unsure what you’d like to exchange into? The box office can refund your ticket purchase to a gift card for future use.

•Donate your tickets. “Your tax-deductible donation today means that the next time you join us at Kleinhans Music Hall for a concert, the orchestra will be here to share the joy of live music with you once more, as a healthy, vibrant and financially secure organization.”

For assistance with any of the above ticketing options, call the BPO Box Office at 716-885-5000 or email [email protected]. “Please be aware that we are responding to a high volume of phone calls and emails, so your inquiry may take longer than normal to answer. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

“Your health and safety is our utmost priority. From everyone at the BPO family, be well, and thank you for your patience and understanding.”
