Thank you.

That was the message delivered to those on the front lines treating people with COVID-19.

Personnel from Upper Mountain Fire Co., Lewiston Fire Co. No. 1, Lewiston No. 2, Youngstown Fire Co., Tri Community Ambulance, Ransomville Fire Co., Cambria Fire Co., Lewiston Police Department, New York State Police and the Niagara County Sheriff’s Department held an “Appreciation Parade” Saturday evening for Mount St. Mary’s health care workers. Lights were flashing with cheers and sirens sounding for hospital staff as the procession moved through the main parking lot as a sign of gratitude for those keeping the community safe and healthy.

Staff were alerted to come outside or catch a glimpse of the parade through windows.

Public Relations Manager Karrie Gebhardt said, “The MSM family was in awe of the outpouring of love and support from our emergency responder partners. Though they came to appreciate us, we appreciate them, too. We are in this together, stronger together.”
