Statement from Treasurer Kyle Andrews:

“The Niagara County Treasurer's office has resumed normal business hours operating between 8:30 to 4:30 on a daily basis. We were able to do so while still meeting all requirements of Gov. Cuomo’s executive orders by reorganizing our staffing plan.

“Resumption of normal hours allows our office to ensure the continued processing of daily revenues, continue to process state and federal aid claims, and provide payroll services to many of those public health and safety employees providing front line services.

“Our office has the additional role of processing 2020 county tax payments from residents located in each of our county’s 12 towns as town tax collectors end their respective collection. The Niagara County Legislature extended the deadline for tax payments until the end of April and that deadline is fast approaching. For those who want to make tax payments in person, additional safety protocols have been implemented to protect the public and our employees.

“If you have questions regarding the treasurer’s office, please call 716-439-7018.”
