In a continued effort to help the local community during these challenging times, Explore & More has launched its “Storytime” series. It brings together various Western New York celebrities to read and engage with children, offering topical questions or activities to go along with each story.

Featured storytellers include former Buffalo Bills player Eric Wood, and Kyle Okposo from the Buffalo Sabres, to name a few. Stories read range from beloved classics such as “Green Eggs and Ham” to modern-day classics such as “Llama Llama Red Pyjama.”

Continuing the museum’s mission of inclusion, diversity and a focus on Western New York, featured storytellers will also read in various languages.

Amelia Schrader, the senior manager of education for Explore & More, said, “Through ‘Storytime,’ we are hoping to engage both children and their caregivers. During this stressful time, everyone can use a little break, and what better way than to sit back and let your imagination unfurl via ‘Storytime’? We’re very lucky to have such an incredible community of talented storytellers who are willing to help us with this mission!”

Explore & More’s “Storytime” series will be posted several times a week on our YouTube, Facebook and website. Those interested in reading can contact Jess Basil at [email protected].
