As Catholic Health continues its coronavirus (COVID-19) emergency management preparations to protect the health and safety of its patients, long-term care residents and associates, the health system announced additional restrictions to its visiting hours.

Effective this week, daily visiting hours for Catholic Health hospitals, long-term care facilities and subacute rehabilitation facilities will be from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Exceptions will be made for visitors of Hospice patients or those receiving end-of-life care.

The new restrictions include the following facilities:

  • Mercy Hospital of Buffalo
  • Kenmore Mercy Hospital
  • Mount St. Mary’s Hospital
  • Sisters of Charity Hospital and its St. Joseph Campus
  • Father Baker Manor
  • McAuley Residence
  • St. Catherine Labouré Health Care Center
  • Mercy Nursing Facility at OLV

A press release stated, “As Catholic Health monitors the status of coronavirus in our community, we will continue to make any necessary changes that limit exposure to our patients, residents and staff. We thank our visitors for their cooperation and understanding.”
