From 6:30-8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 13, at 6630 Luther St., students in grades five through eight will travel around the world without leaving Holy Ghost Lutheran School.
As part of a culture night, students wearing cultural dress will bring their “passports” to 30 “countries” and answer trivia questions about each nation to get their papers stamped.
Principal Kevin Gundell said many students have never been outside the U.S. and don’t know the differences each country has to ours. This is a way to learn how to appreciate being an American, as well as learn about new places.
The public is welcome to come and join this cultural experience in Wheatfield.
