3-year partnership designed to connect Buffalo Sabres fans with timely urgent care services

WellNow Urgent Care – one of New York’s fastest-growing urgent care providers – has been named the “Official Urgent Care Partner of the Buffalo Sabres” for the 2020-22 seasons. The three-year partnership encapsulates a one-of-a-kind partnership to help connect Buffalo Sabres fans with timely urgent care services.

“WellNow Urgent Care looks to forge community-focused partnerships that align with and support our mission of providing patient-centered care,” said WellNow Urgent Care President John Radford, M.D. “We’re thrilled to partner with the Buffalo Sabres, a beloved, Western New York team that has been engrained in the community for half a century.”

Over the next three years, WellNow Urgent Care will connect directly with Buffalo Sabres fans through in-game activations and incentives. WellNow team members will also be on-site at various games through the seasons.

“WellNow Urgent Care provides Western New Yorkers with access to convenient and timely urgent care services in multiple locations,” said Dan Misko, Pegula Sports & Entertainment’s senior vice president of business development. “The Buffalo Sabres organization is proud to welcome WellNow Urgent Care as our ‘Official Urgent Care Partner.’ We look forward to helping to further connect WellNow’s services to our fans and members of our community.”

WellNow Urgent Care provides timely treatment for non-life-threatening injuries and illnesses, such as sprains, strains, colds and the flu – while also offering on-site X-rays, lab testing, and physicals. Patients are treated on a walk-in basis, but may also check-in online or view up-to-date facility wait times directly on the company’s homepage.

WellNow accepts most insurance, including Medicare, Medicaid, Fidelis and Veterans Affairs TriWest. Employers in Western New York are also invited to contact WellNow to discuss its wide range of occupational medicine programs. A full list of services and hours can be found online.

Currently, WellNow Urgent Care operates more than 40 locations across New York and Illinois – 15 of which are located in Western New York. This year, 20 new WellNow facilities are slated to open, including new sites in Buffalo, Lockport, Hamburg and Williamsville.
