Santa Claus flew into the Village of Lewiston on Saturday morning to kickoff Christmas Walk weekend. He was accompanied on his PatProctorCopter by Mrs. Claus and Town of Lewiston Supervisor Steve Broderick. Once the Rainbow Air crew landed, Santa greeted Mayor Anne Welch, Niagara River Region Chamber of Commerce President Jennifer Pauly, and 2019 Peach Queen Victoria Skrlin-Kozak.

Following a brief meet and greet with children and families inside Academy Park, Santa was paraded down Center Street on a super-duper sleigh, courtesy of J&J Strassburg Trucking and Deal Realty. He arrived in the International Peace Garden for an extended time of photos, receiving of holiday toy lists, and conversation with little ones. Skrlin-Kozak assisted Santa, handing out candy canes and snapping pictures.
