Shopping center to host annual breast cancer awareness month fundraiser

Fashion Outlets of Niagara Falls is celebrating breast cancer awareness month with a “Shop Fashionably for a Cause” initiative throughout the month of October. From Oct. 1-31, Fashion Outlets of Niagara Falls will offer a pink savings pass for $5, with 100% of proceeds benefitting the Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center.

The savings pass, which can be purchased at Guest Services (located near Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5th), offers deals and discounts from participating stores and restaurants worth up to $800 in savings. The discounts are valid for 365 days from the date of purchase. Savings pass incentives can be found at www.fashionoutletsniagara.com/VisitorIncentives.

“We are pleased to partner with Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center for breast cancer awareness month. While we’ve hosted Shop Fashionably for a Cause for a few years now, this is the first time that the proceeds from this fundraiser will be kept in Niagara County. We’re proud to support the local community and our highly skilled health care facility,” said John Doran, Fashion Outlets of Niagara Falls property manager.

Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center will be offering free mammograms from Oct. 14-18 and free transportation to mammograms during the month at the Summit Healthplex, located at 6934 Williams Road in Niagara Falls. Patients that receive a mammogram will receive a $5 gift card from Fashion Outlets of Niagara Falls’ NIKE store (while supplies last) and other goodies.
