Buffalo Sabres season kick-off luncheon set for Oct. 1

The Buffalo Sabres announced the team’s season kick-off luncheon, presented by New Wave Energy, will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 1. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Buffalo Sabres Foundation.

The luncheon is scheduled for 12:30 p.m. in the Lexus Club on the 100 level of KeyBank Center. It will include a roundtable discussion featuring Sabres General Manager Jason Botterill, head coach Ralph Krueger and captain Jack Eichel. This event will also feature the opportunity for fans to dine at a table with current Sabres players, coaches and alumni as they prepare for the upcoming season.

Individuals and corporate groups of up to 10 people interested in attending the luncheon can choose between two different packages:

Corporate Luncheon Table – $500 – includes a table of 10 people at the luncheon.

Single Luncheon Seat – $55 – includes one luncheon seat.

Attendees will be asked to adhere to business casual dress code. It’s the team policy to not allow items to be brought in for autographs during the event. Free parking will be available in the ramp adjacent to the arena.

The Buffalo Sabres Foundation mission statement reads: “To identify and support local organizations which share our core objectives: serving children and military personnel, caring for the sick, assisting physically and mentally challenged athletes, and supporting youth hockey initiatives. By utilizing financial resources and community influence, the Buffalo Sabres Foundation assists these organizations and their beneficiaries in realizing their highest potential and succeeding in their endeavors.”
