Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino to welcome 19th annual Native American Music Awards, Wayne Brady, Mickie James

The stars will shine at Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino when the Seneca Niagara Event Center welcomes the 19th annual Native American Music Awards at 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2; and Wayne Brady at 8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 30.

Tickets go on sale at noon on Friday.

The Native American Music Awards is the world’s largest awards show dedicated to Native American musicians. Brady is the ultimate entertainer. The actor, singer and comedian rose to prominence as a regular performer on the improvisational comedy series “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” He then went on to host his own daytime talk show and the first season of “Don’t Forget the Lyrics!” Since 2009, Brady has hosted the popular game show “Let’s Make a Deal.” He has won a total of five Emmy Awards for his television work. In addition to appearing on television, Brady has also performed in several Broadway performances. Tickets start at $45.

Coco Montoya, Brooke Simpson, Mickie James, Crystal Gayle at Bear’s Den Showroom

The Bear’s Den Showroom inside Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino welcomes Coco Montoya on Sunday, Nov. 3 (8 p.m.); “An Evening with Brooke Simpson of The Voice” on Saturday, Nov. 9 (8 p.m.); “An Evening with Mickie James” on Friday, Nov. 15 (8 p.m.); and Crystal Gayle on Friday, Nov. 22, and Saturday, Nov. 23 (8 p.m.).

Montoya is a world-renowned guitarist, vocalist and blues-rock legend. He mixes his forceful, melodic guitar playing with passionate vocals to create memorable songs that deliver the blues’ hardest truths. Since launching his solo career in 1993, Montoya has released eight solo albums, and played clubs, concert halls and music festivals the world over. Tickets start at $45.

Simpson finished in third place on season 13 of NBC’s hit talent competition “The Voice.” The North Carolina native grew up singing with her family in church, starting at age 7. A collection of studio recordings of her “Voice” performances was released in 2018. Simpson released three singles – “Perfect,” “2Am,” and, most recently, “Little Bit Crazy.” Tickets start at $35.

James is not only one of the most successful professional women wrestlers of all-time, but also a successful country music artist. In the ring, she is known to legions of fans as a nine-time champion who has dominated the WWE and TNA circuits. On stage, James has released two studio albums and multiple singles, including “Shooting Blanks,” which won the Native American Music Award for Song of the Year, and “Left Right Left,” which won the Native American Music Award for Best Single Recording. James is a member of the Native American Music Awards Hall of Fame. Tickets start at $35.

Gayle is a living legend of country music. In a career that produced 20 No. 1 hits, Gayle has soared to industry heights, earning numerous awards, accolades, and countless fans. With her fourth album, 1977’s “We Must Believe in Magic,” she became the first female artist in country music history to achieve Platinum album sales. The driving force of that album was the song that would become her enduring signature song, the Grammy Award-winning single “Don’t It Make My Brown Eyes Blue.” She has a new album, “You Don’t Know Me: Classic Country,” slated for release in September. Tickets start at $65.
