Lace up your running shoes and come run with 1,000 or so fellow runners as they fill the street in front of the Ronald McDonald House at 6:30 p.m. and take their mark for the start of the 18th annual Ronald McDonald House 5k Run on Wednesday, July 31. This 2019 Buffalo News “Runner of the Year” race takes place on certified/sanctioned course that takes runners through unique neighborhood streets.

“We look forward to connecting with our community through our annual run,” said Sally Vincent, executive director, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Western New York. “We’re excited to have activities for the whole family. Registered runners will receive a custom runner’s hat and a picnic dinner, live music by the Scott Celani Band, and liquid refreshments at the post-run party! Guests are also welcome at the post-run party for just $10 each guest. This is a fun way for families and groups to raise money for a great cause, while exercising and having a good time.”

Event registration cost is $30 per runner through July 30, or $35 on race day. The registration fee includes a custom runner’s hat and the post-run party. Register online.
