The Erie County Agricultural Society will present the 19th annual Western New York Preview Classic. The show is scheduled to take place inside the Agriculture Discovery Center at the Erie County Fairgrounds in Hamburg from May 31 to June 2. More than $6,000 in cash awards and premiums will be presented during this New York Livestock Circuit-approved show.
This National Junior Swine Association-recommended show is open to exhibitors of all ages. Its goal is to provide a competition experience prior to showing at local county and/or state fairs this summer. The schedule for the weekend includes:
The hog shows will be judged by Greg Krahn of Westfield, Indiana, and Quest Newberry of Bryan, Texas. Judging the lambs will be Cooper Bounds of Thorntown, Indiana, and Denton Lowe of Amber, Oklahoma. Lowe will also judge the goat competition.
