At the Greater Niagara FCU annual meeting on Saturday June 1, Levi Siegmann of Troop 824 presented four children’s tables he built for his Eagle Scout project.

The tables were requested by Jennifer Grier, marketing manager for the credit union. Greater Niagara FCU paid for all construction supplies. Mike Wall from Gui’s Lumber was instrumental in coordinating the purchase and delivery of materials.

Two tables will be placed in the Hope Center, located at 383 Vandervoort St., North Tonawanda. The Hope Center’s mission is to bring hope to the community and make the area a desirable place for young families to plant roots, gather, play and learn. The other tables will be placed in both branches of Greater Niagara FCU – 160 Ward Road, North Tonawanda, and 2901 Military Road, Niagara Falls.

Siegmann is 14 and currently the senior patrol leader for Troop 824 out of Sanborn. He is a Life Scout, staff member for National Youth Leadership Training, and a member of the order of the ARROW.
