Representatives from Lewiston Council on the Arts recently met with the Town of Lewiston Board members to update them on the event schedule for the 2019 cultural season. While the highlight is the Lewiston Art Festival on Aug. 10-11, programming continues through the fall with the Marble Orchard Ghost Walks and a “Tribute to the Edmund Fitzgerald.”

Members of the Art Council expressed their gratitude for the sustained support from the Town Board, which supports the expansion of programs throughout the year.

“Lewiston’s reputation as a vibrant, welcoming and desirable community is due in large part to a Town Board that recognizes the value of the arts as a magnet for attracting families, travelers and businesses,” LCA Artistic Director Eva Nicklas said.
