Town of Niagara Lions and Lioness Clubs hosting Memorial day ceremony

On Monday, May 27, the Town of Niagara Lions and Lioness Clubs will host its annual Memorial Day seremony. The ceremony will take place at Veterans Memorial Community Park, 7000 Lockport Road, and begin at 11 a.m. promptly.

Pastor Ron Maines of Forestview Church of God will provide prayers, and wreath presentations will be done by the Lions, Lioness and Girl Scouts. Boy Scout Troop 841 will conduct a flag ceremony and the Conrad Kania Detachment of the Marine Corps League will provide the Color Guard and live gun salute. The Girl Scouts will sing “God Bless America.” 

The ceremony’s guests speaker is John Doran, manager of the Fashion Outlets of Niagara Falls. Everyone is invited to join in honoring those who served and gave the ultimate sacrifice.
