One of the largest churches in Western New York is holding an Easter service in Niagara Falls.
Inside a movie theater.
The Chapel will hold a nondenominational program at 10 a.m. Sunday, April 21, inside Regal Cinemas, 720 Builders Way.
Services began at this location just about a month ago. So far, “It’s been going really well. We have a very good relationship with the theater, and they’ve been really accommodating to us,” Chapel Communications Coordinator Brandon McClinsey said. “We have a Cheektowaga campus and, prior to being in our permanent space there, we were actually meeting in the Regal in the Galleria Mall.”
McClinsey described the church-in-a-cinema experience as unique, with a local band and campus pastor on site, plus a stream from the main CrossPoint campus.
“Anybody is welcome,” he said.
