The Kiwanis Club of Lewiston presented a donation to St. Peter R.C. School at the club’s second annual fellowship dinner, held in the school cafeteria.

Event organizer John Ceretto and Kiwanis President Marty Pauly presented Principal Maureen Ingham and the Rev. Monsignor David LiPuma with a donation of $1,600 for school programs.

“This event represents a successful community partnership between our club and St. Peter’s R.C. School,” Ceretto said. “We are excited to have the opportunity to support the school’s youth programs within our community.”

Proceeds for these donations were raised though the club’s annual Niagara County Peach Festival.

The Kiwanis Club of Lewiston also sponsors several local youth organizations with Kiwanis International that have a focus on learning leadership skills through service. Included are The Circle K Club at Niagara University, Key Club at Lewiston-Porter High School, Builders Club and K Kids at Lewiston-Porter Elementary School and K Kids at the Tuscarora School. The Kiwanis Club also supports the Aktion Club, a program for adults with developmental disabilities.
