At the 'Art of Beer'

Fri, Mar 8th 2019 08:35 pm

Friday night at the Niagara Arts and Cultural Center, there was live music, paintings, sculptures, belly dancers, a selfie booth, food stations, prizes and beer.

Lots and lots of beer.

The NACC held its annual “Art of Beer” fundraiser. More than 60 craft brewers lined the halls of the former Niagara Falls High School on Pine Avenue. The event featured more than 100 varieties of beer, including some of WNY's newest microbrews. In addition, guests could sample a dozen different culinary selections – everything from beef on weck soup to pizza bread, street tacos to cookies, plus dips, doughnuts and pulled pork sandwiches.

Live music was staged in the Wrona Grand Theater, beer garden and Townsend Gallery, and a silent disco took place in the Garden Gallery.
