Following discussion with Lewiston Police Department Chief Frank Previte this week, the Village of Lewiston Board of Trustees is expected to review its recent decision regarding traffic ingress and egress at the Center Street (Rite Aid) Plaza. The municipality’s monthly meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Red Brick, 145 N. Fourth St.

Last week, trustees voted to change the plaza’s Center Street exit (on the Stone House side) to an entrance, while making the Orange Cat corner both an entrance and exit.

Previte had previously supported switching the egress and ingress, but said he was unaware of a plan allowing both entry and exit on the Orange Cat side. That he does not favor. The chief was unable to attend the Feb. 4 work session, at which time the plaza vote was cast.
