Two emergency department nurses at Mount St. Mary’s Hospital were recently recognized by the U.S. Border Patrol for their assistance. Qi Chapman, RN, left, and Darla Weber, RN, were presented with appreciation medallions from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. They were recognized for going “above and beyond” in assisting a patient, family members and the Border Patrol during a recent visit to the hospital’s emergency department.
Representatives of the Border Patrol returned to Mount St. Mary’s to present the nurses with their medallions.
