Thu, Dec 13th 2018 04:20 pm

Festive trees are lining the overpass bridge and other areas within the New York Power Authority’s Niagara Power Vista at the Niagara Power Project. Area nonprofit organizations provided decorations for the energy-efficient “Festival of Trees” showpieces.

This display continues each day through Dec. 31, with the exception of Christmas day.

•The “Deck the Halls” event takes place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. It features crafts, entertainment, food by Boy Scout Troop 855 of Lewiston, and a nonperishable food drive. Photos with Santa will be available from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.

In addition, free shuttle rides will take guests to and from the Niagara Power Vista and Gorge Discovery Center.

NYPA’s visitor center offers free admission and parking. The Power Vista is located at 5777 Lewiston Road (Route 104). For more information, visit www.nypa.gov/niagarapowervista.
