ASI relocating its office to the Tri-Main Center in January 2019

In the wake of new leadership and increased partnerships, Arts Services Initiative of Western New York, a nonprofit arts service provider, will relocate to a larger office space and work area at the Tri-Main Center (2495 Main St., Suite 422, Buffalo) in January 2019.

The Tri-Main Center, a building where “business and culture converge,” is a six-floor historic re-use space with more than 100 diverse organizations – from architects, engineers and data processing firms to marketers, artists, nonprofit groups and schools – making it a prime climate and environment for ASI.

“This past year at ASI we have demonstrated that we are the center of ‘Where the Arts Meet Business,’ so it only makes sense to be in a building that promotes an atmosphere where business and culture converge” ASI Executive Director Jen Swan said. “Moving to Tri-Main aligns with our strategic planning to increase exposure and partnerships with businesses, communicate our services to existing and new artists and arts groups, and expand to internally host opportunities within our own space, including workshops and other events.”

ASI describes itself as “a nonprofit organization that promotes the cultural sector’s vital role in economic development and the community through capacity building, collaboration and advocacy. It provides the tools and resources necessary to artists and those working in the arts and cultural field to have successful, entrepreneurial creative nonprofits and businesses in Western New York.”

Swan said, “The office relocation positions ASI to better serve our arts and cultural community, and we are excited to do that in a much bigger, long-term, and meaningful way in our new space. We hope all the tenants accept us with open arms for a productive working environment moving forward for the future.”
