Chinese educators visit Memorial Medical Center

Educational leaders from the Guangxi University of Chinese Medicine in Guangxi, China, recently visited Niagara Falls and were hosted by Niagara University. During their visit, they met with administrators at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center to learn more about the innovative RN to BSN nursing education partnership recently undertaken by Memorial and NU.
Among those visiting Memorial were Guangxi University President Tang Nong, a physician who is an expert in Chinese medicine for treating cancer and digestive system diseases; and professor Jiang Jichang, dean of the school's Faculty of International Education.
Guangxi University of Chinese Medicine has 30,000 students, including 15,000 full-time students, and owns and operates three hospitals with a total of 6,000 beds.
