'SplitSeasonTickets' offers fans a way to connect with partners and share ticket packages
Buffalo Sabres season ticketholders have a new option for sharing season ticket packages beginning this season. The Sabres have partnered with "SplitSeasonTickets," a new online platform that makes it easier for fans to share season tickets by finding partners, efficiently dividing tickets between them, and managing and tracking their supply.
"We are constantly looking to provide greater convenience to our loyal season ticketholders," said Brent Rossi, Pegula Sports and Entertainment's executive vice president of marketing and brand strategy. "Many fans are not able to attend all 41 of our regular season home games, but still enjoy being a season ticketholder. This program makes it simple to connect with other fans who will use those remaining tickets and share in the expense."
Fans who use "SplitSeasonTickets" can create a custom listing on www.Sabres.com with the number of games they wish to share, and connect with fellow fans to form a group to share a ticket package. The program helps fans manage the ticket supply by sorting tickets and tracking their use, and gives the ticket partners a digital platform on which to communicate. It also offers an online draft tool, which is similar to fantasy sports drafts, to efficiently divide tickets. The draft feature is also available to existing season ticketholders who already split tickets and would like to use to facilitate their game selections. It is free of charge.
