On Saturday and Sunday, locals from all over Niagara County visited the Sanborn-Lewiston Farm Museum, 2660 Saunders Settlement Road, Sanborn, for the 14th annual Sanborn-Lewiston Farm Festival.
The two-day event provided farm fun for adults, children and families with several interesting features, including a Volkswagen Car Cruise, tractor parade, flea market, antique farm equipment, artisans, food and kids activities. Entertainment included the Sanborn Fire Co. Band, the Symmetrical Band, Eddies Organ Band, The Whatsie Band, Fyfe & Drum, the Parkside Avenue Brass Quintet, basket auctions, the Native American Niagara River Dancers and much more.
As soon as attendees parked their car, they were greeted by a farm-friendly environment with unique tractors on display, wagon rides, a petting zoo, and several local food and produce vendors. Both days also began with breakfasts'.
The event garnered a nice amount of people in attendance and proceeds from the fest benefit the farm museum, as well as future projects.
