Janet Hoffman, president of Watch Wilson Grow, announced the annual Wilson Wine & Art Festival and Farmer's Market on Young Street will take place from noon until 5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 4.
The festival includes several local wineries, Woodcock Brothers Brewery, artists, vendors of all types, local farmers and their products. New this year will be a Chalk Walk. The participants will convert a parking lot into a work of art with prizes for the top creators. The contest is open to participants ages 14 to adult for teams up to four people.
Several food trucks and food vendors will also be on-site for food purchases.
Signature wine glasses are available for purchase for $10 to include samples of wine.
